Honoring a New Class of Skilled Technicians
Su’Coy Community Learning Center (Su’Coy CLC) proudly congratulates its latest graduating class of the HVAC Universal Technician Training Course. Over the past 10 weeks, these dedicated individuals have demonstrated remarkable commitment and hard work, equipping themselves with the skills necessary to thrive in the HVAC industry. The graduates have completed a rigorous program that emphasizes hands-on, practical training, ensuring they are ready for immediate entry into the growing HVAC workforce in Maryland.
Hands-On Learning for Real-World Success
The HVAC Universal Technician Training Course at Su’Coy CLC is designed to provide students with the essential skills needed to succeed in the field. Unlike traditional programs that often rely heavily on bookwork, this course focuses exclusively on real-world training. Students engage in practical scenarios, gaining valuable experience that prepares them to tackle the challenges they will face as HVAC technicians. This hands-on approach not only enhances their technical abilities but also builds the confidence needed to serve local homes and businesses effectively.
Meeting the Rising Demand for HVAC Professionals
As the demand for skilled HVAC technicians continues to rise across Maryland and the United States, Su’Coy CLC is committed to meeting this need by cultivating a network of job-ready, certified professionals. Studies estimate that there will be a shortfall of over 30,000 trained HVAC technicians in the U.S. by 2030, leaving homes and businesses without experienced professionals to secure their indoor comfort. Su’Coy CLC is working to combat that knowledge gap one cohort at a time by offering focused, accessible training to students ready to step into these essential roles.
Encouraging Entrepreneurship and Leadership
In addition to preparing students for immediate employment, the HVAC Universal Technician Training Course also encourages entrepreneurship. Su’Coy CLC believes in empowering its graduates to consider launching their own HVAC businesses.
